Coffee and Conversation: A discussion on the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Regional and Local Workforce Development Plan

February 1, 2024

The Metro Workforce Development Directors of Ramsey County, City of Minneapolis, Hennepin-Carver Counties, Dakota-Scott Counties, Washington County, and Anoka County invite you to a virtual Coffee and Conversation on February 22, 8:30-9:30 am to help us strategize for the upcoming Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act  (WIOA) Regional and Local Workforce Development Plan.

The Regional  and Local plans are required of all local Workforce Development Boards and designated regions around the country by federal legislation. This happens every four years and helps to set a strategy and guide collaborative and innovative work in our metro region and local areas. So, grab a cup of coffee and join us virtually to discuss your top priorities we should be thinking about regionally and locally; sectors initiatives we should pay attention to; partnerships we all should be pursuing; participant service models; or any items you believe should be part of workforce development planning over the next four years.

If you have questions, please contact your local Workforce Development Area Director:
