Responsibilities
• Receive direction and tasks are fulfilled with efficiency and proper time management • Install forms and height stakes to the required height, pitch & lay-out. • Properly brace forms. • Grade base material to required depth of concrete. • Set and tie rebar to the required size and lay-out. • Apply the proper finishes to both interior and exterior finishes. • Provide and assist in concrete set-up, pouring and finishing. Includes, but not limited to form lay-out, setting forms, grading base, compacting base, hand excavation, placement of wire or steel reinforcement, pouring and placement of concrete, screeding off concrete, and hand finishing of both interior and exterior concrete. • Follow all OSHA safety regulations. • Operate a multitude of different saws for cutting concrete, masonry units, metal, wood, etc. Includes, but limited to, cut-off saws, table saws, chop saws, skill saws, & grinders. • Operate wheelbarrows for placement, delivery, or disposal of mortar, concrete, dirt, rock or debris. • Use hand tools and power tools such as hammer, tape measure, sledgehammer, drills, hammer drills, chipping hammers, saws, grinders, jack hammer, vacuum, cut-off saw, etc. • Provide job site & tool clean-up as necessary.
Qualifications
• At least 2 year of relatable experience • Proficient in use of construction tools and heavy equipment • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to lift 50 lbs-100lbs • Tenacity, energy, and strong work ethic
