We currently have one full-time opportunity on our Member Services team in our Health and Fitness Center. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedules are 12:15pm – 10:15pn (close) AND Saturday and Sunday schedules are 12:45pm - 7:15pm (close). Must be at least 18 years old. Pay for this position is $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities
Our Member Services Representatives deliver exceptional customer service to all members and guests of YWCA St. Paul Health and Fitness Center. In this role you will:
- Greet members and guests and provide service in a friendly, professional manner, while overseeing activities within the facility.
- Close the Health and Fitness Center on a daily basis.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas within the facility at all times.
- Respond to questions and proactively provide information on YWCA programs and services.
- Help members access their account and process sales transactions online.
- Customize the buying experience for prospective members in online new membership purchases.
- Initiate, develop, and grow relationships with new and current members, encouraging usage of all offerings of the facility.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- High school diploma/GED/working toward diploma.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in customer service/sales.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to talk to everyone.
- Comfort and self-confidence in engaging prospective members and welcoming current members.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and be inclusive to all.
- Ability to solve problems independently and self-motivate.
- Reliability in attendance and responsibility.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience working in fitness, retail, or hospitality industries who have current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
