Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Manage, train, and assist team members with fixed assets, leases, debt, investments, cash receipts, sales/use tax, and other topics. Research and implement accounting standards. Thoroughly understand existing processes and propose improvements. Assist with overseeing monthly and annual accounting close and financial reporting. Review and/or prepare account reconciliations. Provide information to external auditors for periodic auditing of the organization's financial records. Assist Director with many special projects.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a finance related field A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in general accounting CPA License, Active or Inactive Previous experience as an Accounting Manager Strong Excel skills Exceptional attention to detail Experience handling financial statement audits by a CPA firm Experience in researching / staying current on new or changing accounting standards and implementing as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working for a Public Accounting Firm
