Responsibilities
The Custodian’s responsibility is to maintain the company’s facility in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. This position is responsible for following cleaning schedules and ensuring the building is clean and well stocked.
Responsibilities:
As needed: Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, break rooms, offices, meeting rooms, and work areas Remove waste and place all recyclables in proper containers Dust, wipe, and clean in break rooms, offices, meeting rooms, and work areas Assisting in maintaining grounds and picking up debris Clean windows Fill dispensers including soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, air fresheners, etc. Move office furniture and equipment upon request Monitor cleaning supplies and replenish Monitor the contracted cleaning service to ensure they meet performance expectations Provide coaching and support to any clients assigned to assist with custodial duties Use cleaning and disinfecting agents, following all safety and hazard prevention requirements, and update SDS manuals as products change Set up meeting rooms as approved by the supervisor, ensure the Greenhouse has needed supplies, monitor and report daily refrigerator temperatures, and, as requested, work with outside vendors related to refrigeration and cleaning supplies Receive, stock, and distribute cleaning supplies to different Merrick locations 3210 Labore Road (main location) 1239 Willow Lake Blvd Program Location Highway 61 Production Location
Qualifications
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED 6-12 months experience is preferred.

Ability to pass criminal background checks and drug/alcohol tests following a conditional job offer as well as throughout the course of employment.
