The Breast Health Center at Regions Hospital has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical and emotional medical care and treatment to diagnostic breast patients and those with high risk conditions. Our Breast Health Center performs diagnostic work, breast ultrasounds, and procedures which include biopsies and seed placements to help in the diagnosis of breast cancer or other breast health problems. You will work with patients of all cultures and physical conditions. The Nurse Practitioner will partner with breast surgeons and radiologists as well as our Cancer Center.

This position obtains health history, examines patients, orders appropriate lab and X-ray exams, performs minor procedures, prescribes, administers, and dispenses drugs and therapeutic devices within the scope of APRN practice, and communicates with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. The Nurse Practitioner also assists in the development and implementation of education and care programs for patients and appropriate members of the healthcare delivery team.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift. Closed on all major holidays.

Additional Information: This is a non-union 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period) with the potential to work a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day shift position working in St. Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $83,366.40-$114,799.36 annually, based on experience and internal equity. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and eligible for benefits. Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a master’s or DNP in nursing. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota APRN license. NP certification in relevant specialty through the ANCC/AANPBC/NCC.

Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in Oncology or Breast Health.
