Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

Working as a traffic engineer in a team setting under the direct supervision of a project manager. Providing traffic engineering services for a wide variety of both complex and small projects including traffic data collection, traffic design (signing/pavement marking/traffic control), multimodal corridor studies, traffic signal design and operations, traffic impact studies, and freeway studies

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with coursework in traffic engineering Minimum of zero (0) to four (4) years of previous experience in the Civil Engineering field Must have successfully completed or scheduled to complete the EIT exam in the next three months Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections, etc. Ability to walk and climb over rough terrain and carry up to 40 pounds Must reside in Minnesota or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and/or Microstation Previous experience with highway capacity software: Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, or other traffic analysis software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) Reside in the Twin Cities with ability to report into the St. Paul office a couple days a week
