SEH is currently searching for a talented Lead Civil Design Technician to join our Wastewater Engineering team!

Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Calculate dimensions and draw detailed dimensional design layouts for projects Interpret engineering designs and draft project plans using various software programs, including REVIT and ACAD Prepare drawings and schematics for project reports and plans Calculate quantities and assist in developing cost estimates for construction projects Conduct 3D scanning in field, assist with creation of 3D model Assist project teams with questions, interpret plans and provide input on shop drawings during construction Assist with recommendations to update drawing standards
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Two-year / Associate Degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field
- Fifteen (15) years of experience as a technician at a Civil Engineering Firm
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with REVIT and modeling process piping
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment principles and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Twenty (20) years of previous experience
