Overview
Assist the Finance department with processing of accounts payable and administrative functions.
Employment Type
• Summer Employment - Begin in June continue through late September.
Work Schedule
• The schedule for this position will start 2-3 days per week and increasing to 5 days per week as the summer progresses. • Extended hours during peak times, including some weekends and evenings are required. • Required to work all 12 days of the Minnesota State Fair, August 22 – September 2, 2024. • The schedule after Labor Day is flexible and can work around school schedule, however must work for at least 4 hours at a time and no evenings or weekends.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
• Assist with daily and weekly processing of accounts payable, including filing, creating spreadsheets, entering new vendor information, entering invoices on a daily basis, matching purchase orders to invoices, auditing for accuracy, entering information into databases, and assisting with the gathering and verification of W-9 forms. • Assist with other projects in the finance department. • Assist with tasks assigned by either the immediate supervisor or general manager as needed.

• Available to work June – late September. • Extended hours during peak times and consecutive days without time off are required. • Ability to maintain confidentiality. • Attention to detail. • Reliable and accurate data entry skills. • Microsoft Excel and Word experience. • Exceptional organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Finance/Accounting major. • Working knowledge of basic office equipment. • Accounting background or knowledge.
