Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Assists with preparation of engineering planning, studies, and designs for wastewater treatment facilities Collaborates with internal and external teams to provide engineering solutions Assists with preliminary design calculations/analyses and evaluates alternatives Assists in preparing plans and specifications Assists with construction administration Assists with preparing technical information for clients and industry organizations
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
B.S. in civil, environmental, or related field Zero (0) to Two (2) years of previous experience Coursework or experience related to water and wastewater treatment and conveyance Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; occasional overnight travel will be required
Preferred Qualifications:
2-4 years experience with wastewater or water treatment systems Passed the FE/EIT exam Previous experience or coursework in civil, chemical, environmental engineering including fluid mechanics, chemistry, heat transfer, unit process design, engineering economics, wastewater treatment, water treatment, construction principles Proficiency with BioWIN wastewater process modeling software Proficiency with hydraulic modeling including: Bentley WaterGEMS and Innovyze InfoWater Proficiency with design applications including: AutoCAD and Civil 3D
