Job Summary Telework is available and negotiated at the time of hire. There may be periodic requirements in office, roughly once per quarter or at the discretion of management. Employees will be required to complete a telework agreement. The incumbent of this position must be flexible in terms of work hours and be able to travel to recruitment events in the Twin Cities metro area and greater Minnesota.

The Recruiter is a critical role in positioning MDOR as the agency of choice, ensuring a qualified and diverse talent network. This role will support all aspects of the agency's recruitment process including creating an inclusive and engaging employer brand, supporting hiring managers, proactive candidate sourcing, and the creation and management of a recruiting technology portfolio.

Teleworking employees are required to live in Minnesota or in a state bordering Minnesota.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications • Two (2) years of professional experience which includes recruitment or sourcing in the financial sector*  *Bachelor's degree in a closely related field as determined by the agency may substitute one (1) year of experience; master’s degree substitutes for eighteen (18) months of experience; PhD substitutes for twenty-four (24) months of experience. • Proven experience creating and implementing strategic recruitment plans including using multiple recruiting strategies and sources to build a diverse community network, for passive and active candidate recruitment. • Experience using applicant tracking and human resources systems to support recruiting operations. Applicants who meet the above experience requirements will be further evaluated at interview based on the following: • Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage a variety of stakeholders including collaborating with internal and external groups. • Experience leading projects or teams • Computer proficient in various systems including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word

Preferred Qualifications • Proven experience using critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze and evaluate information, research and evaluate alternatives, independently make sound decisions, and provide guidance on recruitment. • Previous experience recruiting audit, tax, and/or accounting professionals • Prior experience building a virtual recruiting program from the ground up. • Experience developing and fostering relationships with colleges, universities, professional associations, and diverse organizations • Experience managing, prioritizing, and coordinating multiples tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Multilingual

Physical Requirements

Sitting for long periods at a time, occasional moving of articles such as boxes, hard copy files, and laptop computer.
