SEH is currently searching for a talented Graphic/Digital Designer to join our team! You are eligible to work from home full time but will need to live near the St. Paul or Denver office to pick up equipment for travel.
The graphic/digital designer is a highly creative, enthusiastic and motivated individual, driven to apply their expertise on a range of initiatives. Specifically, the designer is responsible for filming B roll and filming/conducting interviews with employees and clients, developing print and digital graphics (collateral, infographics, web pages, social media graphics, presentations, pursuit-related assets), and contributing to the overall Marketing efforts at SEH.
This individual has strong creative capabilities from concept to final design, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data to meaningful visuals with great attention to detail. This designer must work well in a team environment, providing and being open to creative direction and critique. This individual must also be capable of acting as a collaborator, facilitator and influencer with internal peers and customers.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually appealing graphics and design assets for use across various marketing channels Communicate with team members and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards. Create strategic and inspiring design work from concept to completion Collaborates with other internal designers to identify, develop, and implement state-of-the-art tools and approaches Conceptualize and plan video projects in collaboration with the marketing team Operate video equipment such as cameras, microphones, lighting, and tripods to capture footage Conduct interviews with clients and employees to gather testimonials or insights Maintain video equipment and keep it in good working condition Stay up to date with trends in video production and incorporate new techniques into projects as needed Consistently implement and communicate brand visual identity standards Assist in the management of digital assets
Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, Graphic Arts, or related field. A minimum of (3) years of experience in a similar role. Must be able to travel 20% of the time Must be able to report into the St. Paul, MN or Denver, CO office on an as needed basis Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities and meet deadlines, have a high attention to detail and work well under pressure with minimal supervision. Possess an understanding branding, layout, color theory, and typography in both print and digital media. Strong skills in industry-standard graphics programs such as: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, and/or other similar programs. To be considered for this role, candidates will be requested to present a strong portfolio of video, print and digital work to be reviewed by the hiring team.
Ability to take creative direction and constructive critiques. Ability to manage a variety of situations using good judgement and present ideas in a persuasive yet thoughtful manner. Confident in sharing and moving ideas forward, active in generating new ideas and creative suggestions. Strong desire to help others succeed through collaboration and assisting to complete projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to groups. Conceptual thinker who has solid understanding of the creative process.
