Performs highly responsible professional work providing administrative, analytical, and management support services. Provides business support services for projects and programs that may include strategic planning, project management, research and analytical services, grant development and administration, contract development and administration, and financial and cost analysis. Prepares reports and correspondence. Acts as a project manager or team leader. May serve as a public information liaison. Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.

About this position: Performs responsible professional work in strategic program and partnership development for recreational and leisure programs throughout the City of Saint Paul. Performs work requiring project and grant management, community engagement, research, analytical, and cost analysis skills. Connects across city departments and divisions, program partners, and with the public to provide high quality programs at a variety of facilities.

Responsibilities

Performing strategic project and program development Conducting regular asset inventories and analysis Developing new partnerships and systems for sustainable partnerships Making presentations and holding meetings to maintain a network of partner stakeholders Developing curriculum and piloting new and reconfigured projects, programs, and initiatives Managing Right Track grant development and tracking Facilitating community engagement and programming among Rec Services staff, community participants, and program partners Providing guidance to Park and Rec staff through training and co-programming Serving on interdepartmental work groups to foster integrated opportunities for recreation related work

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Education, Urban Planning, Information Systems, Management, Business Management, or a closely related field and four years of relevant project and management support experience including research, collection, compilation, and assessment of data, program support/planning, or equivalent experience. Acceptable related degrees may be specified by the requirements of each hiring department.

Related degree areas may include but are not limited to the following: Public Policy, Social Work, Sociology, Political Science, Education etc.

**Experience can be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
