Responsibilities
As a Project Accountant on our team, you will:
· Effectively communicate with project managers regarding contract documents, contract modifications, approvals, and client invoicing needs
· Set up and approve new projects
· Analyze revenues and expenses on individual projects to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
· Make adjustments to project data in ERP system per the request of the Project Manager
· Prepare draft and final invoicing for all billable projects
· Communicate and coordinate with other offices and Accounting personnel
· Work with the Records Department to maintain and file billing information for all projects
· Compile data and prepare reports on an as-needed basis
· Assist in Month-End Close process
· Accounts Receivable analysis and collection calls
· Provide year end support for auditors
· Thorough knowledge of Company policies
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
· Associates degree in Accounting or related field
· A minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Oracle ERP Systems
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
· Advanced communication and organizational skills
· Strong analytical problem solving skills and attention to detail
· Excellent knowledge of billing and financial concepts
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
· Perform multiple tasks effectively
· Highly detail oriented
