The primary responsibility of the Direct Support Professional (DSP) position is to provide assistance and care to clients in our Corporate Adult Foster Care Programs. ILO is looking to hire Part-Time and Full-Time Direct Support Professionals for our Corporate Adult Foster Care programs in Ramsey (White Bear Lake, Saint Paul, Roseville, East Saint Paul) and Anoka (Fridley, Coon Rapids, New Brighton, Columbia Heights) Counties

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of the clients
  • Medication administration
  • Assisting clients with hygiene management (toileting, bathing, dressing, etc.)
  • Household management
  • Documentation of daily activities, communication, and concerns of the clients and the site, and community/social integration
  • Lifting and transferring are an essential duty

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License with less than 3 moving violations and no DUI/DWI within the last 3 years (please note that overnight DSP staff do NOT require a Driver's License)
  • Ability to clear a DHS background study
  • Applicants must also demonstrate adequate verbal and written skills and be able to navigate basic technology.
