Cashier Skills Training
Learn how to be successful in any cashiering job. To qualify for Cashier Skills job training, you must:
- Be born outside the U.S.
- Live in Minnesota
- Have conversational English skills
In this class you will learn:
- English skills
- American customer service skills
- Counting and handling American money
- How to use a cash register
- Work readiness skills such as interviewing & resume writing
There will be opportunities to run the Student Store at the Institute and job shadow. You will also receive personal financial coaching and help finding a job.
Training Location: 1694 Como Ave. St. Paul, MN 55108 in person
Date: June 24 – August 2
Monday – Thursday | 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Prerequisites: Complete English assessment
