Time Commitment: 6 Months

Format: Hybrid, Online and In Person Classes at Normandale College

Starting Pay Range: $18 - $23 per hour

Meets: 5:30pm - 8:30pm, Tuesdays & Thursdays

What jobs will I be prepared for?

You will be prepared for positions such as an Outreach Educator, Community Health Navigator, Peer Health Educator, Community Outreach Advisor, and Contact Tracer.

What certifications will I earn?

You will earn an industry recognized Community Health Worker certificate that includes 16 college credits.

What other opportunities are included?

There will be an opportunity to shadow for experience on the job. 

Qualifications for Participation

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Right to Work in the United States
• Proficient math and reading skills
• Customer Service experience
• Meet income based requirements
