Description
This is an ideal opportunity for candidates with a master’s degree in a behavioral science field who are looking to: Gain hands-on experience in 245D services Receive ongoing support and professional development Make a direct impact supporting individuals with behavioral and mental health needs
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 positive support services to individuals with behavioral needs -Conduct functional assessments and help develop person-centered support plans
- Implement evidence-based strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors -Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress -Train and collaborate with staff and caregivers
- Monitor and adjust support plans based on client outcomes -Support clients in building coping skills and daily living skills
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in:
- Behavioral Sciences or related fields
- Social Work (MSW) -Psychology / Applied Behavior Analysis
- Counseling (LPCC track) -Special Education
Experience or interest in: -Behavioral support services -Functional assessment and data collection -Supporting individuals with mental health or developmental disabilities
Additional requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to transport clients in a personal vehicle if needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
