Prior experience in addictions treatment, behavioral health, substance use disorder and/or inpatient psychiatry is especially helpful. However, all nursing backgrounds will be seriously considered. Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care to individuals with mental health and behavioral disorders by conducting assessments, administering medications, and monitoring patient status.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, ensures a safe therapeutic environment, responds to behavioral crises, and documents care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Supports patients through therapeutic communication, education, and de-escalation techniques to promote stabilization and recovery.
