Responsibilities
- This position will require the applicant to repair and maintain electrical and mechanical components at the asphalt facility, as well as operate the plant to produce hot mix.
- This position reports to the Pit-Plant Superintendent, and daily communication is an essential part of the position.
- On the job training will provide opportunities to increase knowledge of the plant and to grow within the company and be a valued team member.
- This position is a full time, seasonal position with a timeframe of usually April to December (weather permitting).
- Our jobs are primarily located in the Metro and South Metro Twin City areas.
Qualifications
2+ years’ asphalt plant operating experience. High School Diploma or Equivalent Electrical and mechanical abilities Welding experience Effective communication skills Some fabrication skills General computer skills Ability to make decisions quickly
