
RealTime Talent (RTT) is seeking a part-time Communications Contractor to lead a lean, strategic
communications and branding initiative from September 2025 through February 2026. This work
will support RTT’s transition to independent nonprofit status, help sharpen our public identity, and
build a consistent, professional look across our digital and print materials – all in anticipation of
celebrating the organization’s 10-year anniversary in 2026.
This is a time-limited engagement designed for simplicity and long-term sustainability, ensuring
that the RTT team can maintain and carry forward the communications foundation created during this project.Timeline Project Duration:

- Phase Timeline Activities Discovery & Strategy Sep - Understand RTT’s mission, voice, and future direction -
- Review current assets and audiences - Align on tone, scope, and approach with leadership Brand Development
- Sep – Oct - Design new visual identity (logo, color palette, typography) - Create new tagline and concise brand guidelines Implementation
- Oct – Dec - Apply brand to Squarespace site (in collaboration with RTT’s data visualization specialist) - Brand reports and templates - Develop one-pagers and report layouts Launch Planning
- Dec – Feb - Create a communications and messaging plan aligned with RTT’s 10-year anniversary and re-launch - Coordinate brand roll-out across channels Final Handoff
- Jan – Feb - Deliver assets, templates, and documentation - Provide walkthrough or training as needed
Responsibilities
Rebrand Package
• New RTT logo
• Color palette, typography, and visual identity
• New tagline
• Simple brand guide (1–2 pages)
2. Website Branding
• Apply new brand identity to existing Squarespace website (with support from RTT’s data viz
specialist)
• Recommend simple content/layout changes to reflect re-launch

• Standardized branding applied to 3 designed reports: Supply and Demand Report
Systems Change Report
State of Minnesota Workforce Report (10-year anniversary edition)
• Design 2 one-page marketing documents:
One targeting employers
One targeting nonprofit, government, and philanthropic partners
• Update slide and document templates
4. Communications & Launch Strategy
• Develop messaging and rollout plan for RTT’s re-launch as an independent nonprofit
• Coordinate brand rollout in conjunction with the release of the 10-year anniversary
workforce report
5. Documentation & Handoff
• Deliver all design files, templates, and assets in editable formats
• Provide documentation or light training to ensure internal usability and maintenance
Qualifications
- Budget
- The total available budget for this engagement is not to exceed $25,000.
- We welcome proposals at lower price points.
- Proposals should clearly outline what can be delivered at the proposed cost.
- Proposal Submission Interested contractors should submit a brief proposal that includes:
- Resume or portfolio of relevant work
- Fixed price or hourly rate with estimated hours for each of the five deliverables
- Short description of your approach to lean nonprofit communications and brand development
