This position will support the Sales Tax Revitalization (STAR) and District Council programs and staff (Coordinators and Project Managers) by organizing and providing technical and other support to program activities (board meetings, annual round activities), assisting with review and assembly of contracts and reimbursement requests, data entry, and ensuring financial and other information is collected and entered into appropriate internal systems (i.e., Infor, Legistar), and limited project management support.

Responsibilities

•Provide administrative and other support to two program advisory boards, attends board meetings, and keeps board meeting minutes and other documentation required by law. •Collaborate with STAR team on continuous improvement and program evaluation processes and assists with department reports and correspondence as needed. •Coordinate the intake and organization of contract materials through data entry, file management and tracking the submission of various contract documents. •Provide administrative support for contract processing, including compiling and formatting materials, tracking internal approvals, managing e-signature workflows and maintaining a filing system for executed agreements. Provide administrative support in the •District Council reimbursement process by verifying documentation for completeness and tracking missing items. •Provide technical support and assistance to team members, grant applicants, and District Council staff, and STAR Boards, and provide backup technical support for other team members (i.e., website updates, Nortridge). •Provide excellent customer service and support to diverse audiences, including applicants, District Council staff, other departments, and the public. •Maintain calendar of events for District Council and STAR-funded events.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Information Systems, Management, Business Management, or closely related field. Acceptable, related degrees may be specified by the requirements of each hiring department.

Alternatively, a candidate can present four years of vacancy related experience as a substitute for education.

A combination of education and experience to equal four years or more can be used to qualify for the position.
