The Propane Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting the company’s sales goals specifically related to Propane Sales Growth. They will work directly with the sales department at all locations to develop new business opportunities, maintain relationships with existing customers, and drive sales growth in the Propane sector. Following the company’s sales process and providing great customer service, they are to develop and maintain high quality relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with commercial and industrial customers to promote propane sales ID and pursue new business opportunities within the propane gas market Provide customers with information on propane products, services, and safety guidelines Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to customer needs Negotiate product supply agreements and pricing to close sales while ensuring profitability. Work closely with operations and logistics team to ensure timely delivery and service Stay abreast of market conditions regarding propane industry trends, regulations, and safety standards Utilize company Pipeline document to track propane sales opportunities Follow and execute the Track Selling Process utilizing the Value Proposition Tool Communicate and cultivate the Core Values of OSC internally and externally Attend and participate in biweekly L-10 meetings

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalency Associates Degree or Certificate in business related field is a plus 5+ years experience in sales for industrial, medical or specialty gases preferred Valid Class D Driver’s License Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP Software Ability to work alone, influence people in opinions, attitudes, and judgements Must be organized and have good time management, with the ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines Demonstrate professionalism, superior people skills, strong oral and written communication skills Must be a team player with the ability to communicate with all levels within an organization
