This position performs intermediate level professional data analysis, project management, business analysis, and budget/fiscal analysis. Assists in compiling and reviewing the annual City budget, identifying financial, operational, and strategic challenges. Identifies problems and proposes and facilitates solutions. Monitors revenues and expenditures and performs budget management duties throughout the year. Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications
Seven years of experience conducting policy research and analysis, budget development and administration, or financial analysis.
NOTE: a Master’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field may be substituted for six years of work experience as noted above. A Bachelor’s degree in the above fields may be substituted for four years of work experience as noted above. An Associate's degree in the above fields may be substituted for two years of work experience as noted above.
Professional experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis. A combination of education and experience must total seven years or more.
