MSP has been a market leader in the Twin Cities for almost 50 years provided Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing services to residential Clients. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee our HVAC Department and drive performance to new levels. The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the charge for continued growth and as a result, the selected candidate will make a strong base, commission and bonuses. First year potential over $125,000. SUMMARY: Create, monitor, evaluate and implement strategy to improve the Company's sales volume and operations in the HVAC Department. This position is not only responsible for sales volume, but also expense control, market share, P&L, achievement of sales goals, hiring and training sales staff, Client satisfaction and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

 

  • Show staff how to establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
  • Develop key client relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
  • Get potential customers excited about MSP and encourage them to spread the word.
  • Conduct training to boost sales and ensure quick, accurate dispatch of incoming orders.
  • Become an expert of your market area, know the customer needs.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and coach direct reports to success.
  • Monitor performance of dealers and distributors.
  • Simplify and standardize products and eliminate any unprofitable items from the sales line.
  • Make sure incentive programs are equitable and properly documented.
  • Analyze and control division expenses to meet budget.
  • Run sales leads (10-30 per month depending on Demand)

Qualifications

-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
-5 years of sales management required. Related industry experience, In-Home Sales and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
-Impeccable written and verbal communications/selling skills are required.
-Must be competent in the use of standard office software applications.
