Description
• Establishes and maintains network performance • Builds net configurations and connections • Troubleshoots network problems • Establishing monitor alerting on all network devices and troubleshoot problem areas • Work closely with vendor partners for advanced/escalated troubleshooting • Participate in managing all network security solutions including Remote-Access, VPN, Firewall, IDS, and security management applications • Participate in projects that are delivered via third party partners • Follow established change management policies and process • Install and configure network services • Update and provide network system documentation to vendors and developers • Conduct technical research on system network upgrades to assess compatibility, cost, and time required to implement • Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field • 4 years of experience or more as a Network Analyst • Functional or educational knowledge of network systems design and implementation from configuration to network administration • Experience troubleshooting network system issues and exposure to balancing network capacity through bandwidth and network analysis • Understanding of technical infrastructure to include system management, monitoring, and operations • Experience in Multicast routing • Experience with IP telephony • Experience with Cisco Nexus devices • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to lift, carry, and position up to 40 pounds • Possession of a valid state issued driver’s license and able to commute between job sites
