Position Profile

Responsible for assisting members with opening, closing, and accessing their safe deposit box while providing Great Personalized Service (GPS). Actively build relationships with members, identify financial needs, and refer products and services to meet those needs. Maintain privacy of member information and follow all regulations, policies, and procedures for the safe deposit box area.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • Assist members with their safe deposit box needs:
  1. Opening/closing of safe deposit box
  2. Adding/removing owners on safe deposit box
  3. Accessing safe deposit box
  4. Scheduling appointments
  5. Answering member questions about safe deposit boxes
  6. Process monthly billing and payments
  • Ensure security of safe deposit box vault area, including opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain accurate safe deposit box leases and safe deposit box reporting
  • Coordinate all monthly maintenance with applicable vendors and process unclaimed property
  • Process all applicable safe deposit box reports and notices
  • Perform quality assurance as needed for membership documentation
  • Process address changes and account maintenance
  • Assist with mail duties as needed
  • Provide support in completing member research requests, VOD’s, and check orders
  • Order department supplies, track and maintain inventory
  • Responsible for daily opening, closing, and balancing in core processing system
  • Provide front desk coverage when needed
  • Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Fulfill Hiway’s Core Purpose, Core Values, and GPS standards
  • Meet scorecard performance goals
  • Adhere to any and all current and/or future policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned by management

  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills

  • Math aptitude and keyboarding skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
