ACR has over 50 locations throughout the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. We have part-time and full-time positions available and flexible scheduling with a variety of shifts to choose from (Day, evening, night, weekend).
As a Direct Care Professional, you are responsible for meeting the emotional and physical needs of the people we support, being a positive role model, and helping them meet their personal goals. You will be assisting them with their daily living skills such as self-care, meals, transportation, and medical needs. You will also accompany them on a variety of recreational and leisure-time activities.
Examples of tasks completed on shift: *Some tasks may or may not be completed in different homes. This is not a comprehensive list.
- Preparing and passing medications (we will train you)
- Assisting residents at meal times
- Use of medical equipment such as hoyers, G/J tubes, blood pressure cuffs, oxygen tanks, ostomy bags etc. (we will train you)
- Completing range of motion and other therapies
- Assisting residents with personal cares
- Finding fun activities in and outside of the house to do with residents
- Advocating for residents during routine doctor appointments
- Building relationships with residents
Flexible hours available - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Part-time and full-time positions available. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits.
NEW PAY SCALES have the pay rates starting up to $22/hour depending on the position and when you are working with huge benefits for those that choose to work full-time. Rates are as follows:
DCP Part-time (Day/Eve): $11.25/hour DCP Part-time (Awakes): $15/hour DCP Full-time (Day/Eve): $15/hour DCP Full-time (Awakes): $17/hour Floats Part-time or Full-time (Day/Eve): $15.50/hour Floats Part-time or Full-time (Awakes): $17.50/hour *E-Floats Full-time only (Day/Eve): $20/hour (new increased pay rate) *E-Floats Full-time only (Awakes): $22/hour (new increased pay rate)
*popular Gap year(s) opportunities because they are FT, lots of great experience, and comes with quarterly bonuses totaling $10,000/year
Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) allows you to earn up to $1500 for schooling in 2020-21 and up to $2000 for schooling in 2021-22.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Have a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Have access to reliable transportation
- Have no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Have a clean criminal background record
- Have the ability to lift 70 lbs.
