Explore brownfield funding opportunities this September

Discover how state and local programs can help clean up and redevelop contaminated sites at two upcoming in-person information sessions: September 3 in Plymouth and September 4 in Inver Grove Heights.

The sessions will highlight funding opportunities from multiple sources, including Ramsey County’s Environmental Response Fund (ERF), which awards approximately $500,000 each grant round. Community & Economic Development staff from Ramsey County will share how ERF funding can support redevelopment projects and answer questions about the application process.

The timing of the ERF grant round aligns with contamination cleanup grant programs from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) and the Metropolitan Council, creating an opportunity for applicants to coordinate requests across the three programs.
