Youth Job and Resource Fair

On Saturday April 20, 2024, Workforce Solutions hosted the 2nd Annual Youth Job & Resource Fair at the Maplewood Mall. With the planning support from Marnita’s Table and the Suburban Ramsey Family Collaborative, the event featured 13 employers and five employment/other resource partners for youth and families. Additionally, to support full families, the event included a craft table, chair massages, glitter tattoos and Huxley the therapy dog, sponsored by the Workforce Innovation Board. 

The event served at least 124 youth and young adults. A brief check-in survey allowed  Workforce Solutions to collect information to help inform next year’s event. 75% of the youth and young adult reported to be Ramsey County residents.
