Comcast to offer Twin Cities businesses owned by people of color $10,000 grants

Comcast has announced that it will award $1 million in grants to 100 small businesses owned by people of color in the Twin Cities, as well as provide technology and marketing resources to businesses that qualify.

Each business selected will receive a $10,000 grant from the Comcast RISE Investment Fund.

From now through Oct. 14, eligible businesses can apply for the grant, or marketing and technology services at www.comcastRISE.com. The Comcast RISE Investment Fund is focused on small enterprises that have been in business for three or more years with one to 25 employees. Businesses eligible include those in the seven-county Twin Cities metro. The winners will be announced in late November.
