Chick-fil-A eyes vacant Perkins building in Arden Hills

Arden Hills may be getting a Chick-fil-A restaurant.

The city council on Monday heard a concept review for a planned site that would replace the Perkins restaurant that closed in December 2018.

Chick-fil-A is proposing to raze the old building at 3855 Lexington Ave. and redevelop the site with a new single-story 4,995-square-foot restaurant with a dual-lane drive-thru. The restaurant, should it be approved and developed, could create up to 20 jobs.

The 1.5-acre parcel is currently owned by Roger J. Reiling Revocable Trust.
