AI Bootcamp
As artificial intelligence continues to reshape the workplace, organizations are looking for practical ways to help employees work more efficiently, improve productivity, and stay competitive. Hennepin Technical College's Customized Training Solutions (CTS) is excited to offer a new opportunity to do just that. Join us for the AI Bootcamp for Professionals, a five-day, instructor-led training designed to help working professionals confidently use today's leading AI tools—including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini—in real workplace environments. Whether you're looking to build your own AI skills or invest in professional development for your team, this bootcamp focuses on hands-on learning that participants can immediately apply to communication, content creation, research, workflow automation, and everyday business tasks. No prior AI experience is required.
Participants will receive:
- 40 hours of instructor-led training (4.0 Continuing Education Units)
- Hands-on experience with today's most widely used AI platforms
- Practical strategies for improving workplace productivity and efficiency
- Preparation for the CompTIA AI competency assessment
- The opportunity to earn a downloadable CompTIA CompCert (Competency Certificate) demonstrating AI proficiency
The course is led by Sam Espana, Hennepin Technical College IT faculty member and technology leader with more than 25 years of experience in software engineering, healthcare IT, systems administration, and technology leadership. Sam brings real-world expertise into the classroom, ensuring participants leave with practical skills they can immediately put to work.
