Union Boilermaker Training Program
FREE, SHORT-TERM PROGRAM FOR PEOPLE WHO QUALIFY! This short-term program provides hands-on training aligned with employer needs and prepares participants to apply for Registered Apprenticeship opportunities with Boilermakers Local 647. Boilermakers build and repair boilers, tanks, and industrial systems using welding, cutting, and fabrication skills. Participants also receive individualized career navigation and job placement support throughout the program and after completion.

- Union career pathway preparation
- Job placement support
- Ongoing case management and support services
Training Location: Anoka Technical College - 1355 US-10, Anoka, MN 55303
Date: Monday, July 6, 2026 - Program End Date: Friday, July 30, 2026
Prerequisites: This program is designed for BIPOC or lower-income participants, individuals facing barriers to employment, and those interested in entering union apprenticeship pathways
Cost: Free for eligible Minnesotan.
