Attend an in-person information session offered on Wednesdays each week, 2-3 p.m. (arrive by 1:45 p.m.) at our training facility, 1270 Energy Ln, St. Paul, MN 55108.

NOTE: No info sessions on 12/24 and 12/31 due to the holidays

What to expect:

• Get started with 4 weeks of training that includes job placement assistance
• Hands-on shop training in our solar install lab, plus paid training
• Instruction in electrical energy fundamentals, safety standards related to solar and electrical, solar and storage installation basics, common solar and maintenance tasks, site evaluation and customer service
• Get access to industry experts, tours and employer contacts
• Professional career coaching and assistance with resumes, applications, interviewing, job search, job retention, and advancement
• Receive industry-recognized certifications in solar and installation, OSHA-10, CPR/First Aid/AED
• Training hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Training available at NO COST to eligible students

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to attend this 4-week course, 40 hours per week
• 18 years of age or older
• Committed to working full-time in the industry
• Not enrolled in school
• High School Diploma or GED
• Score at a 9th grade or higher in reading and math
• Must be comfortable with heights (e.g., climbing roofs) and exposure to a variety of external elements and weather
• Valid MN driver’s license
• Eligible to work in U.S. (MN ID/DL and social security card)
• MN resident; Twin Cities Metro.
