Saint Paul Riversedge

This downtown Saint Paul site is located at the southwest intersection of Wabasha Street and Kellogg Boulevard, overlooking the Mississippi River.

RiversEdge is an innovative public-private project that revitalizes our capital city's historic riverfront and expands direct public access to one of Minnesota's greatest natural resources – the Mississippi River. RiversEdge will become part of the fabric of Saint Paul for generations. How the project is designed, who benefits from it, and how it is delivered will reflect the county's commitment to responsible and lasting public investment. Through the county's Building Stronger Together initiative, this investment is expected to generate millions in private investments, create jobs and density, and increase the tax base. RiversEdge will be a welcoming space offering an opportunity to connect people with the river and each other.

The Park at RiversEdge

The Park at RiversEdge will create a new, dynamic, and accessible connection to downtown Saint Paul and the Mississippi River. The current lack of easy and accessible connection is a barrier to unlocking downtown's full potential.

Strategic Intent

  • Deploy public investment as the catalyst for private economic transformation.
  • Resolve complex site constraints through park infrastructure that enables unified site development.
  • Permanently reconnect downtown Saint Paul to the river.
