Responsibilities
This Opportunity:
Support members of our Water Resources team Provide analysis and design or storm sewer collection systems, perform hydraulics modeling and stormwater BMP modeling, assist with stormwater compliance projects and SWPPP development Develop project documentation including technical design reports, engineering calculations, construction drawings and technical specifications
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in hydrology and water resources engineering Ability to walk and climb over rough terrain and carry up to 40 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous coursework or experience with civil engineering projects including fluid mechanics, open channel hydraulics, and/or storm water management Working knowledge and previous experience with GIS, AutoCAD and Civil 3D Previous experience with the NPDES municipal stormwater, industrial stormwater and/or construction stormwater regulations Strong verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of construction drawings and specifications Previous experience with construction observation and/or fieldwork Strong public speaking skills
