Career Pathways: 

Roseville Area High School students enrolled in Raider Career Pathways courses learn industry-specific skills and, in some cases, may earn free college credit and industry-recognized credentials. Students are involved in engaging, hands on classroom and field experiences, such as internships, connecting with local industry professionals, tyouring local businesses, and other experiential learning opportunities. Participants in Raider Career Pathways develop essential skills and experience needed to either enter the workforce directly in a high-paying career or futher their education at a two-year or four-year post-secondary institution.

Projects and Initiatives:

RaiderWorks Summer Internship Program: RaiderWorks is a paid, experiential learning opportunity for students to gain skills in the Manufacturing/Engineering industries and to learn about related careers. Student interns complete a 4-week internship at a local area business. Students may be offered part-time or full-time employment upon completing the RaiderWorks program. Additionally, students will spend one afternoon a week in a classroom setting working on job, employment, and professional skills in addition to working on their OSHA-10 certification.

 

Employer Partnerships:

Roseville Area High School works with local businesses and industry partners in a variety of ways. These partnerships are an important addition for student experiences both inside and outside the classroom.

Business and industry partners can benefit from engaging with Raider Career Pathways through growing their own workforce through mentoring students and providing internships, apprenticeships, mentorships, job shadows, and more. Businesses will be connecting with students whose educational opportunities have been aligned with workforce needs.

How to get involved:

  • Classroom presentations and guest speakers
  • Join our CTE Advisory Councils
  • Hosting student tours to your site
  • Job shadowing or internship experiences (available for both summer and school year!)
  • Mentoring opportunities
  • Donating money and/or equipment for our newly renovated CTE spaces
