The City of Saint Paul Public Works Department is hiring an individual to perform basic cleaning and custodial work in an assigned area.

Here's what you can expect to do: Clean building floors, office areas, seating areas, and hallways by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming. Dust rooms, hallways, and office furniture. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and drinking fountains. Gather and empty wastebaskets. Lock and unlock doors. Report needed repairs to supervisor. Lift equipment, tools, and supplies of up to 50 pounds. Positions in some department may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Information Specific to this Position: This vacancy is in the Public Works Department located at 60 W Sycamore St., Saint Paul working Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Occasional weekends may be necessary.

Qualifications

Good physical condition.

For positions in Public Safety and Libraries: Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License or equivalent out-of-state driver's license.
