We are currently searching for a talented Planning Intern to join and grow with our Transportation team! This position is open to full time in Summer of 2025. If available/want to work during the school year, that is a possibility as well.
SEH’s Transportation Planning team thinks beyond congestion and takes transportation planning to the next level. They investigate how diverse and dynamic multimodal transportation networks affect drivers, bikers, businesses, residents and even the land within a community. This collaborative team uses the latest traffic modeling techniques to plan, coordinate and implement intelligent transportation systems and is at the forefront of improving mobility for all.

Responsibilities
This Opportunity:
Working in GIS Assist in preparing materials for public or client facing meetings Participating in Engagement meetings with the public Gain knowledge and skills in the field of Urban planning that pertain to transportation
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related
- Experience or coursework related to GIS
- Must be local to the St. Paul, Minnesota office with the ability to report into the office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in a career within Transportation Planning
- Strong writing skills.
- Cover letter highly preferred with application
- Experience or coursework with Adobe Suite
- Interest in attending and participating in public or client facing meetings
