Responsibilities
Substitute Teacher Responsibilities: Assume classroom teacher duties in alignment with school district lesson plans, rules, and Kelly policies, including: Conducting existing lesson plans and leading classroom instruction. Teaching students on a variety of classroom topics/courses. Building positive relationships with students. Assigning reasonable tasks and homework. Empowering students to learn and encouraging classroom participation. Creating a conducive learning environment suitable for the maturity and interests of students. Adapting to various learning styles. For long-term assignments, may be required to develop lesson plans, as well as create, administer, and grade tests and assignments.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements: · Substitute Teacher– bachelor’s degree with MN Teaching or Substitute License · Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language fluently and effectively · No experience necessary; we provide training! Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. · Don’t have a license but want to teach? No problem! We will guide you through the licensing process.
