Under the direction of the Recreation and Facilities Manager, this position will help to plan and implement recreation programs for all ages and a variety of special events in the parks!
Make a difference in the community by providing opportunities to get active, learn, and make connections! We are looking for candidates who have experience working in a recreation programming setting and will come with an understanding of current recreation trends.
Responsibilities
This position will assist with a wide variety of Parks & Recreation responsibilities including: youth sports; youth summer camps; adult athletics, active older adult (55+) programming; Music in the Park series; annual city festival, and other popular events.
Qualifications
This position will require an individual to have passion for building community, collaborative work, and innovation. Eligible candidates should have: Associate’s degree or higher in Park and Recreation Administration, or closely-related field; 2 years’ experience with recreation and youth programming; some form of leadership experience.
