Job Overview
Our Hollow Metal (HM) department is very busy keeping up with the demand of Hollow Metal doors and frames; we are looking for a Production Support person to support our Production and Sales teams to ensure our Customers are getting the quality product they have come to expect from Twin City Hardware (TCH).
Working Conditions
Office environment involving extended periods of sitting and computer work. May require walking/standing in a manufacturing environment subject to temperature changes and use of Hearing protection and other Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.

Responsibilities
Review incoming orders and clarify questions with Sales staff
Allocate material for non-standard Bills of Material
Schedule orders based on ship date, lead time and production schedule availability
Research and attach hardware templates for orders, using websites or TCH database to secure templates
Coordinate with HM Shift Lead and Sales staff on shop order questions
Order material from vendors for special orders, relay templates/drawings as needed
Source vendors for materials
Coordinate with Shift Lead for rush orders
File shop orders for HM Shift Lead daily
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience using Microsoft Business Center (MBC) or similar software
Advanced knowledge of nomenclature and product, preferred but not required
Advanced math skills
Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the company
Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities
Advanced understanding of purchasing paperwork and paper flow
Experience with computer systems in a Windows/ Google based environment
Must be able to reliably commute to Oakdale, MN
