SEH is currently searching for a creative, enthusiastic, and motivated graphic designer to join our marketing team!
The Marketing team is a highly collaborative group that focuses on building brand and helping the company win work. The ideal candidate has strong creative capabilities from concept to final design, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data to meaningful visuals with great attention to detail. This designer must work well in a team environment, providing and being open to creative direction and critique. This individual must also be capable of acting as a collaborator, facilitator, and influencer with internal peers and customers.
Transform concepts into visually appealing designs, following modern trends and adhering to layout, hierarchy, and typography best practices Create final assets using Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant tools Manage end-to-end design production for print and digital projects Integrate photography, artwork, and digital elements seamlessly Apply modern UX design principles and basic HTML/CSS for web graphics Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually appealing graphics and design assets for use across various marketing channels Communicate with team members and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards Create strategic and inspiring design work from concept to completion Consistently implement and communicate brand visual identity standards Assist in the management of digital assets
Three-plus (3+) years in a similar role Proficiency in industry-standard graphics programs such as: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, and/or other similar programs Strong portfolio of print, and digital work Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated understanding of branding, layout, color theory, and typography in both print and digital media. Conceptual thinker with a solid understanding of the creative process. Ability to take creative direction and constructive critiques Ability to present ideas in a persuasive yet thoughtful manner Good judgement skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project/tasks simultaneously Team-player and ability to work with minimal supervision Candidates will be asked to complete an InDesign exercise prior to proceeding to interview with the hiring team Candidates will be required to submit a portfolio along with their resume.
Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, or related field. Interest or experience in video editing, filming, or interviewing In-house design experience is preferred Travel: 5%
