Overview: 
Oxygen Service Co. is excited to offer a 6-10-week paid summer Internship in the Automation Department at Sartell Minnesota. The intern will receive an overview to a variety of the main functions within the Automation department. This position will focus primarily on assembly, disassembly, and installation of robotic equipment. Candidate will work with qualified automation technicians to complete the goals and commitments of the automation department.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibility: The primary responsibility will include placing/mounting robotic components such as arms, positioners, control cabinets, pallets, safety fencing, and other items as required by system configuration.

Qualifications

Education and Skills: • Junior or Senior pursuing AAS degree in Robotics/Automated Systems or other related field • Self-motivated, and process minded • Open to learning and teaching others • Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with multiple levels of the organization • Organized and strong attention to detail • Good mechanical aptitude • Ability to follow direction

Job Specifications/Requirements: Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time throughout the work day. Occasional lifting of 20-50 pounds is required. Frequent walking, twisting, and bending. Continuous fine manipulation, including grasping and handling. Frequently twist head/neck, talk, and hear. Willingness to travel as necessary between locations and for training or installations.
