Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Support BIM data collection, design, management, and visualization initiatives. Provide end-user BIM technology support and troubleshooting. Develop, document, and create awareness around BIM processes. Create and manage BIM content. Work with stakeholders to outline desired outcomes and solutions that provide those capabilities. Maintain a high level of BIM technology knowledge through continuing education and training Coordinate new application releases and software updates Outline and facilitate training needed to support Corporate BIM initiatives Research and recommend emerging BIM technology. Facilitate and lead user group meetings to share developments and discuss future initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associates degree in architecture, drafting, digital design, engineering or similar field of study with an emphasis on horizontal BIM technologies (experience may be considered in lieu of degree). 5 years or more of professional experience with horizontal BIM technologies 5 years or more supporting company BIM technology initiatives. Bentley OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or Trimble Business Center 5 years or more in the Civil Engineering or Construction Industry Detail oriented with strong professional, organizational, interpersonal skills. Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot technology issues Ability to work in a team environment while independently managing workloads. Preferred Qualifications:
Educating or training others in BIM technology Leading work groups or teams. Possess or in pursuit of CAD / BIM / VDC certificate or accreditation. Cloud collaboration platforms. Project Information Management platforms. Redline and digital markups solutions. Automation / programming languages Visualization technologies. Point cloud registration and processing from terrestrial or airborne sources Point-cloud and lidar data collection solutions including, but not limited to, laser scanning, drones.
