What you will be doing:
Working with local and regional teams to prepare full design projects. Responsible for the development of architectural projects with new and prospective clientele Supporting SEH’s architectural marketing efforts, assisting in preparing proposal presentations, and managing communication between clients, consultants and contractors Assist in development of project scoping, fees and proposals
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture Licensed Architect Five (5) + years of previous experience with progressive responsibility Recognized and well-connected with representatives from current and prospective clientele; Acknowledged as an expert in one or more market sectors Ability to work independently and to coordinate activities across regional teams and offices Ability to understand how buildings are constructed and to create technical documentation that succinctly describes the work to be done Ability to manage the development of technical project documents generated by technical production staff Ability to mentor junior architectural staff and/or other junior project staff through the design process Working knowledge of standard building code reviews; facility space planning, programming and interior functional layouts, site master planning and investigations, and construction administration activities Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of development Ability to successfully meet established project schedule and budget expectations Ability to coordinate the work of other adjacent project disciplines – structural, mechanical, electrical, civil Basic customer service and client management skills Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD design platforms Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc; At times overnight travel may be required
NCARB Certification Minimum of five (5) years previous experience with planning and design within the Municipal market sector
