Twin City Hardware is currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to work closely with our Contract Sales Staff to provide our customers with quality service, product knowledge, and a superior customer experience. Responsibilities

Support Project Manager in maintaining solid customer relationships Estimate project costs in a competitive bid environment, using TCH software and estimating software- EPWS Obtain factory quotes, and review Take-Off for accuracy Work with the Project Manager and/or Contract Sales Manager to set markups Prepare bid proposals using the TCH Bid Log; follow up on bids and update Bid Log in a timely manner Research and problem solve project issues/ questions in coordination with Project Manager Write customer orders in CERP/MBC as directed by the Project Manager Work closely with the Project Manager to keep projects running smoothly: write change orders, pursue executed change orders from customers, update financials in both EPWS & CERP, keep job folders organized/filed electronically, request closeout documents from Engineering, and order factory products as required Visit job sites, contractor’s office to assist with questions, issues and run errands as required Print/ save plans, and specifications Detail projects for submittal and revise approved shop drawings as required Manage all projects when the Project Manager is unavailable or out of the office Attend internal and external training to increase product knowledge of the door and hardware industry Work with Accounting to ensure accurate information on job invoicing, bid bonds, or any special paperwork as required by contract Attend monthly Contract Sales meetings and other meetings as required Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ability to understand and utilize MBC, cERP and EPWS software Basic knowledge of industry nomenclature, preferred Strong organizational skills Self-motivated individual who can help manage multiple projects with varying deadlines High attention to detail and willingness to learn from errors to prevent in the future Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms within all levels of TCH, and its customers Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making and comprehension Basic knowledge of Windows/ Google based programs Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Oakdale, MN
