Responsibilities
Ensure great service by interacting with new and existing customers to determine products and services required within the residential hardware department Provide pricing for customers Relay product knowledge to customers, describe features and highlight benefits to give “good, better, best” options Remain well-versed in product knowledge to show how our products stack up to the competition Assist customers with special orders of hardware Create quotes, orders and purchase orders Gain knowledge of other departments to promote all services offered at TCH such as: commercial, integrated access, wood doors, and hollow metal Follow up on open job quotes to finalize sales orders Process returns from customers; coordinate with warehouse staff and vendors as needed Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills Be willing to learn new products and services General computer knowledge in Windows and Google based environments Basic knowledge of MBC Retail sales experience in residential hardware Self-motivated, organized individual that can manage time effectively and with minimal supervision Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of organization and customers Favorable results from a criminal background check including Motor Vehicle Report Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Oakdale or New Hope, MN
