Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Focus on the design of water and wastewater conveyance engineering solutions Have the flexibility to become involved in a variety of projects including, sanitary/storm sewer collection and conveyance systems, lift stations, and specialty hydraulic structures Production of reports, technical memoranda and design plans and specifications for construction
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering 4+ years' experience in wastewater Registered Professional Engineer (PE) Conveyance systems, lift stations, pipeline design. or Interceptor experience. Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; occasional overnight travel will be required
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software including: XPSWMM, Infoswmm, Bentley Hammer, or other related software Previous engineering or wastewater operations experience Previous experience and working knowledge of with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) Previous experience or training with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit Proven writing skills for technical documents Ability to coach and mentor junior level technical staff and Graduate Engineers
